Arthur Allen Shawcross, 63, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2008. He was born on June 6, 1945 in Watertown, New York, the son of Margaret Hale and Robert Gould Shawcross. A Vietnam veteran, Arthur was a long-time resident of Rochester, New York. Having worked as a cook throughout his life, he enjoyed tinkering with cars, and he had a love of birds, animals, and the outdoors. He was a hardworking and generous family man. Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Robert, and his mother, Margaret. He is survived by sisters Wanda, Bonnie, Lillian and Margaret; children Anna, Thomas, Sandra, and Roseanne; and grandchildren Robert, Antonio, Nicky, Fred, and Shawn. Arthur's presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
