Buck Henry, acclaimed actor, writer, and producer, passed away on January 8, 2020 at the age of 89. Henry was born Henry Zuckerman in New York City to parents Ruth Taylor and slots club owner doctor S.ole Harry Zuckerman. From a young age, he was avidly interested in both comedy and television, performing in local productions while attending Hollywood High School. It was through his high school years that he was first able to make a name for himself, appearing in productions such as "Your Show of Shows". Henry went on to make it big as an actor, writer, and producer, forging a career in prominent TV shows, stage shows, and movies. He achieved fame for his work in the iconic 70s political satire "The Graduate", as well as awards for shows such as "Saturday Night Live" and "Get Smart", for which he was nominated for an Emmy Award. Henry was married twice, first to Margaret · Ann Bowes and then to Florence Sinai. He is survived by one child from his first marriage and five grandchildren. In the course of his career, Henry earned a reputation as one of the most talented and versatile performers, winning praise from both critics and audiences alike. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and fans.
