Bishan Singh Bedi, the legendary Indian cricketer who bowled left arm orthodox spin, passed away on October 23rd, 2023 at the age of 77. Born in North India in 1946, Bedi enjoyed a remarkable 25-year career as both a player and coach of the game. He represented India in 67 test matches and took 266 wickets. He was known for his accuracy and control over flight, cunning skills, as well as his commitment to spin bowling. Bedi was awarded a number of honors over the course of his career, including Arjuna award in 1972, Padma Shri in 1976, and Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1976.
