Bobby Sherman, a beloved actor and singer, passed away on June 24, 2025 at the age of 81. He was born on July 22, 1943 in Santa Monica, California to parents Robert Cabot Sherman Sr. and Juanita Vennum. As a child, Bobby showed a natural talent for music and began taking piano and voice lessons at a young age. He later joined a local band and started performing at clubs and events. In 1962, he signed with Decca Records and released his first single "The Big Hurt," which became a hit in Europe. Bobby's big break came in 1968 when he was cast as Jeremy Bolt in the TV series "Here Come the Brides." His charming personality and good looks made him an instant heartthrob, and he quickly gained a large fan base. He also released several successful albums during this time, including "With Love, Bobby" and "Getting Together." In the 1970s, Bobby continued his acting career with appearances on popular shows such as "The Partridge Family" and "The Love Boat." He also released hit singles like "Julie, Do Ya Love Me" and "Easy Come, Easy Go." Although his music and acting career slowed down in the 1980s, he continued to perform and make occasional TV appearances. Aside from his entertainment career, Bobby was also known for his philanthropic work. He was a strong advocate for various charities and organizations, especially those supporting children's health and education. Bobby will be remembered for his talents, charm, and generosity. He leaves behind his wife, Susan, and their children, Jamie and Christopher. He also leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come. Rest in peace, Bobby Sherman.
