Cassandra Roos "Cassie" Bernall (October 18, 1981 - April 20, 1999) passed away April 20, 1999, at the age of 17. Cassie was born to parents Misty and Brad Bernall in Lakewood, Colorado. She was the younger of two girls. While growing up, Cassie attended several schools in Colorado, including Colorado Christian Academy and Red Rocks Church Youth. At the time of her death, Cassie was a student at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. She was known for her strong faith and her involvement in her church youth group. She overcame obstacles in her life with a strong sense of determination. Cassie was an inspiration to her family, friends and her community. She is survived by her parents Misty and Brad, her older sister Sarah, and many people whose lives have been touched by her. Cassie will be remembered for her strength, courage, and perseverance.
