It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chad Everett on July 24, 2012. He was 75 years old. Chad Everett was born in South Bend, Indiana in 1937. He moved to Hollywood, California at the age of 22 where he began his acting career. He landed his first major role in The Chapman Report (1962). Over a career that spanned four decades, he appeared in over 80 films, including Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970-1977), Melrose Place (1992-1999), and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (1964-1968). For his role in medical drama series Medical Center (1969-1976), Everett won two Golden Globe Awards and was nominated for an Emmy. Not only did Everett renowned for his acting, he was also a respected producer and director. In 1975, he co-produced the television movie, Karen’s Song, in which he also acted. He later went on to direct episodes of Medical Center and The Streets of San Francisco. At the time of his death, Chad Everett was surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
