Claus von Bülow, an eminent European financier, passed away, aged 92, on 2019-05-25. Having built a distinguished career in the financial sector, Claus von Bülow was well known as a German-Danish lawyer, adviser and investor. He received an education at the City of London School, before attending Oxford University, where he graduated with a bachelor degree in law. In the following years, Claus von Bülow served as the chairman of various British and European firms, including the London and Manchester Assurance, the Post Office, and the Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation. He was also an active member of the Georgs-Marien-Hospital and of the British Railways Pension Fund and of the William Church Osborn Memorial Foundation. Claus von Bülow was a husband, father and grandfather, and will be fondly remembered by his loving family.
