Diana Dors (October 23, 1931 - May 4, 1984) passed away peacefully on May 4, 1984, aged 52. She was born Diana Mary Fluck, in Swindon, Wiltshire, England, and was a successful actress and singer. Dors began her career as a teenage actress and quickly gained popularity as a leading lady in British films. With an array of roles, in film and television, Diana quickly became one of the nation's household names. She was acclaimed for her roles in Yield to the Night (1956), Sirius in the Sky (1956), The Unholy Wife (1957), and I Married a Woman (1958). In addition to her acting prowess, Diana was an accomplished singer who released 7 singles and 5 EPs. She performed in various cabaret shows and concerts, delighting audiences with her singing talent throughout the world. Diana Dors will be fondly remembered for her incredible talent and charm, by her many fans, family members, and colleagues. She will be greatly missed.
