Richard York, 63, passed away on February 20, 1992. He was a renowned actor who appeared in a variety of roles throughout his career. His most memorable and beloved role as Darrin Stephens in the long-running TV show "Bewitched" earned him critical acclaim. York was an experienced stage performer prior to his television career and appeared in many Broadway productions. He was a successful actor and director and sitcom producer. He also acted in a variety of movies such as Bellevue and Butterfield 8 for which he received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He will be remembered for his impressive body of work and his unforgettable performances on and off the screen.
