It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Diego Maradona, who died on 2020-11-25 at the age of 60. Maradona was an Argentine professional footballer and manager. He was widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, playing and managing in four different decades. Nicknamed "El Pibe de Oro," Maradona won the FIFA Player of the 20th Century award in 2000 alongside Brazilian legend Pele. He was also a two-time recipient of the FIFA World Player of the Year; taking the award in 1986 and 1993. He is remembered for leading Argentina to the 1986 World Cup victory, being central to Napoli's first ever Serie A title, his legendary dribbling skills, and captivating thousands of people during his career and thereafter. He leaves behind fond memories and legacy from everyone around the world who was touched by his life and extraordinary career.
