Don Williams, born on May 27th, 1939 passed away at the age of 78 on September 8th, 2017. Don enjoyed over six decades in the country music business, starting his career in 1971. He had earned the nickname “The Gentle Giant”, creating an unmistakable style of country music which earned him chart-topping hits such as “I Believe In You”, “Good Ole Boys Like Me”, and “Tulsa Time”. Don was an inspiration to many and will be fondly remembered for his warmth, humility and skill as a songwriter and performer. He was an honorary member of The Grand Ole Opry and had also been inducted into The Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those in the music industry.
