Doris Roberts (November 4, 1925 - April 17, 2016) passed away peacefully on April 17, 2016 at the age of 90. Doris began her career on stage in the 1950s, performing in Broadway productions and off-Broadway shows. She then transitioned to television and film when in the 1970s she began appearing in many TV commercials and shows, including Friends, Flo, Remington Steele, and The Bold and the Beautiful. In addition to her success on stage and screen, Doris was also the author of two books: Are You Hungry, Dear?: Life, Laughs and Lasagna, and From My Mother's Kitchen. Doris is remembered for her roles in her many television and movie appearances, but was admired most for the loving relationships she maintained with those around her. Her legacy and impact will be remembered forever.
