On Thursday, May 18th, 1965, Eli Cohen, beloved husband, father and patriot, died at the age of 40. Eli Cohen came from a humble background, but made the most of his talents and sought to make a difference in the world. He was a proud patriot of his native land, and a was a true leader in the Syrian Jewish community. Eli Cohen was a respected entrepreneur, having owned and operated several successful businesses throughout his lifetime. He was a dedicated husband of 20 years and a devoted father of four children. Eli was always willing to help those in need, and never shied away from a challenge. He was an inspirational leader and trailblazer who was much admired and will be deeply missed.
