Frank Sutton, an American actor who was best known for his role as Sgt. Vince Carter on the CBS television show "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.", passed away on June 28th, 1974, at the age of 50. Sutton began his professional career in a Broadway production of "On the Great White Way". He went on to become a much beloved actor, appearing in several television series and movies, including "The Andy Griffith Show", "The Untouchables", "His & Hers", and "Quincy". He is survived by his wife, Louise Webb, and two sons, Christopher and Tucker Sutton. A memorial trust has been set up in his name to help young artists achieve their craft. His memory will live on in the hearts of his friends, family, and all who knew him.
