It is with great sadness that the family of Halyna Hutchins sadly announce her passing on 2021-10-21 at the age of 42. Halyna was born in 1978 in Ternopil, Ukraine. She immigrated to the United States with her family in search of a better life, and she grew to love the country. She excelled in her studies and earned an undergraduate degree in business administration. After graduation, she worked at an investment firm in New York. Halyna had a great passion for the outdoors. She was an avid hiker and loved spending time in the rural areas of the country. She was an animal lover and had two dogs and a cat. She was an excellent dog-mom and made sure her furry friends had everything they needed. Halyna was an incredibly kind and generous soul. She would put her own needs aside to help others in need, no matter what the cost. Halyna loved spending time with family and friends and would always be up for a chat or joke. It was these memories and moments that family and friends will cherish forever. Halyna will remain in our hearts forever.
