Herb Edelman, beloved actor, has passed away at the age of 62. Herb was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1933. He had a long career in both television and film, best remembered for his roles in “The Golden Girls,” “The Odd Couple,” and “Barney Miller.” He also appeared in five episodes of "M*A*S*H". Mr. Edelman won an Emmy Award in 1975 for his performance in an episode of “The Golden Girls.” He was also a devoted philanthropist and was involved with several charities. Herb will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and fans.
