Herbert Mullin, age 75, passed away on August 18, 2022 following a long illness. Mr. Mullin was born in 1947 to Richard and Bessie Mullin in Pennsylvania and attended local schools before moving to Santa Cruz County, California, where he lived for more than 50 years. He was employed by the Santa Cruz Fire Department for many years and was an active member of the local community. His family remembers him as a kind and generous man who was devoted to his friends, his work, and his family. He is survived by his daughter Emily and son Richard, as well as three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Carol of 40 years. He will be remembered for his compassion, generosity, and his commitment to his family and community. The family requests that memorials be made in Herbert's name to your local fire department.
