Hugh O'Brian, born April 19, 1925, in Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2016 in Beverly Hills, CA at the age of 91. O'Brian was an iconic star of television and film, primarily remembered for his lead role in the western series The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, which ran from 1955 to 1961 for a total of six seasons. Prior to his talent for acting, O'Brian served in the United States Marine Corps in the 1940's after attending New Trier High School. The actor and philanthropist was also a statesman for the United Nations Association as a Goodwill Ambassador and a tireless devotee to his Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership program — or HOBY — which has been inspiring young people to transform their lives and change the world since 1958. His long, successful career, humanitarian and philanthropic contributions will be genuinely missed.

Do not fear death. Death is always at our side. When we show fear, it jumps at us faster than light. But, if we do not show fear, it casts its eye upon us gently and then guides us into infinity. Laughing Bull
