Malagasy poet who is widely considered to be africa's first modern poet and the greatest literary artist of madagascar. (1901–1937).

Born March 4th, 1903 in Antananarivo.

Died June 23rd, 1937 at 34 years old in Antananarivo (cyanide poisoning).
