John Drew Barrymore, the beloved father, actor, and producer, passed away on November 29, 2004 at the age of 72. He was born on June 4, 1932 in Los Angeles, to esteemed actors John and Dolores Costello Barrymore. As a gifted and natural talent, Barrymore appeared in numerous films and TV shows from childhood, most notably in the 1941 "Outlaw of Murphy Gulch" and earned his first Golden Globe in 1967 for "Gunfight in Abilene." Throughout his long career, he worked alongside some of the biggest names in the film industry, and shared his love of acting, producing, and directing with his many fans. Barrymore is survived by his daughter, actress Drew Barrymore, his son John Blyth Barrymore, and his grandson Duke. Despite his death, his legacy will live on in their words today and continue to be remembered by fans around the world.
