John G. Trump, of New York City, passed away on February 21, 1985, at the age of 77. He was a physicist who specialized in electron devices and X-ray technology, and made pioneering contributions to the field of medical applications for nuclear energy. He was widely respected for his expertise and insight in this field. John was a professor at both New York University and Columbia University and served as a visiting professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition to his professional achievements, he was a highly respected member of the community, and was involved with numerous charitable and civic organizations. John is survived by his daughters, sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.
