John Inman, age 71 passed away on March 8th, 2007. John was originally from Liverpool, England and relocated to London where he began his long entertainment career. Throughout his life, he enjoyed making people laugh through his celebrated performances as a comedic actor and singer. John was best known for his starring work in the British sitcom, ‘Are You Being Served?’, and ‘Grace & Favour’. He was celebrated for his lasting contributions to television and the theatre. John was the son of the late William and Gertrude Inman, and is survived by his brother Bill, and nephews. He will be remembered fondly by his family, friends, and colleagues.
