American serial killer and torturer (1942-1994).

Died May 10th, 1994 at 52 years old in Stateville Correctional Center (lethal injection).
John Wayne Gacy Jr. passed away on May 10th, 1994 at the age of 52. He was born in 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. John was a serial killer who raped, tortured and murdered at least 33 teenage boys and young men between 1972 and 1978. He was nicknamed “The Killer Clown” for his habit of dressing up as Pogo the Clown and entertaining children at parties, fundraisers and other events. John Gacy was convicted of his crimes in 1980 and was sentenced to death by lethal injection in March of 1994. John Gacy was a polarizing figure and his death brought an end to one of the most notorious criminal careers in history. He will be remembered as a dark chapter in our nation’s history.
