Jorge González, 44, died on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010. Jorge was born in Mexico and became a US citizen in 2006. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in biology. Before his death, he enjoyed a successful career as a biomolecular engineer. Jorge was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying skiing, fishing, and hiking. He also loved to travel, especially to New Orleans. He is survived by his two children, Maria and David, and siblings Daniel, Jose, and Anna. He was preceded in death by his parents Maria and Juan. Jorge will be remembered fondly by those who knew him for his kind and gentle spirit. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
