In 1956 Kelly famously married Prince Rainier III of Monaco, making the transition from Hollywood to becoming Princess of Monaco. During her reign, she served as patron to numerous charities, and was credited with helping to transform-modernize Monaco into a major tourist destination. Kelly is survived by her husband and their three children, Princess Caroline, Prince Albert, and Princess Stephanie.
