Kenneth Welsh, actor and teacher, passed away on May 5th, 2022 at the age of 80. Born in October 1941 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Kenneth enjoyed a long and successful career as an actor and teacher. He studied theatre and business at the University of Alberta and began his acting career after graduation. He was probably best known for his role as Windom Earle on the television show Twin Peaks. He also had prominent roles in many other film and TV productions over the years including The Day After Tomorrow, Where the Truth Lies, and Cold Mountain. In addition to acting, Kenneth was also an experienced teacher specializing in Acting for Film and Television. He taught at the University of Alberta and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, and many of his students went on to successful careers in the industry. Kenneth will be remembered fondly for his talent, passion, and dedication to both his craft and his students. He touched many lives throughout his long and illustrious career, and will be greatly missed.
