Kim Peak, a world-renowned savant and inspiration for the movie Rain Man, passed away on December 19, 2009 at 58 years old. Kim was known for his unbelievable memory, grace, and unequalled intelligence. Diagnosed as a disabled person at birth, Kim, at the age of one, was already gaining insight into numbers and could immediately process calls from parents and Get words he had never heard before. By the age of three Kim's remarkable work was thought to begin and showed off any uncanny memories he had. Kim had the distinct ability to remember anything he heard or read once. This included books, poems, dates, facts, and numbers. As a child, Kim went to a normal school where he learned to write and do basic math, before being taught by his father. With his brilliant mind, he did calculations at the speed of light and astounded people. All of his achievements earned him great recognition. He went around the world inspiring people and giving lectures. His work was also featured several times in scientific and medical reports. Kim will be remembered and celebrated by the countless lives he has touched. He will be greatly missed.
