On February 4, 1987, iconic musician Liberace passed away at the age of 67. Widely acclaimed as a talented pianist and entertainer, Liberace first became known for his signature style of flashy costumes and extravagant stage presence. Through his music career spanning almost five decades, he released dozens of albums and performed live concerts for millions of fans across the world. He also earned several awards and accolades throughout his career, including two Emmy Awards, five honorary doctorates, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Alternatively he published his memoirs in 1976 and made notable appearances in films and television shows. Liberace may be gone, but his memory will live on in the hearts of the countless fans whose lives he touched through his longevity and phenomenal career.
