Marcia Strassman (July 28, 1948 - October 25, 2014) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends at the age of 66. Marcia was born in New York City, and is best known for her iconic role as Diane Szalinski in Disney's Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Growing up in New York City, she was an active member of her community. Marcia was an award-winning actress, singer, songwriter, and producer. Throughout her long-standing career, Marcia appeared in a wide variety of critically acclaimed films, television shows, and stage productions. Committed to a life of philanthropy, Marcia loved supporting and participating in charity and nonprofit organizations that focused on educating and helping the underprivileged. A dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, Marcia loved spending time with her family. She was a woman of immense talent, intelligence, wit, and beauty, and will be deeply missed.
