It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maryanne Trump Barry on November 13th, 2023. She was 86 years old. A prominent figure in the legal world, Maryanne Trump Barry was an accomplished Senior Circuit Judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. A member of the bar since 1973, she took on assignments that included the U.S Attorney for the District of New Jersey from 1983-1989. Judge Barry also served as an adjunct professor at the Seton Hall University School of Law. Her record of accomplishment was remarkable. Outside of her professional endeavors, she was active in local organizations and charities. Maryanne Trump Barry is survived by her children Maryanne, Robert, and Charles, as well as her grandchildren Tonya, Trinity, Vanessa, Charles, Patrick, and Tiffany. The family has asked that donations be made in her name to the Seton Hall University School of Law in lieu of flowers.
