Max Weber (1864-1920) passed away on June 14th, 1920 at the age of 56. Max Weber was born in Erfurt, Prussia, on April 21st, 1864. He was a German sociologist, philosopher, and political scientist best known for his famous book "The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism". He attended the University of Heidelberg, the University of Berlin, and the University of Freiburg, and served as professor of economics at Freiburg University from 1894 to 1897. Weber is widely recognised as one of the founders of modern sociology, and is considered one of the most important figures in social science research. His work has influenced many fields, including history, economics, politics, law, sociology, and theology. Weber's work is credited with paving the way for the development of modern social theory and depicted bureaucracy in its modern form. Max Weber will be remembered as one of the most influential sociologists of the 20th century and an important contributor to the development of social science research.
