Yang Xinhai (b. 1969 – d. 2004) passed away on February 14th, 2004 at the age of 35. He was a resident of China throughout his life and had a historical legacy that would continue to be remembered after his death. Though his life was relatively brief, Yang Xinhai was a noteworthy figure in his country's history. He was widely known as the most prolific serial killer in the People's Republic of China. He confessed to having committed 65 murders and 23 robberies between 1999 and 2003, earning him the title of 'The Monster Killer.' Yang Xinhai was executed on February 14th, 2004 by the Supreme People's Court in China. He was a part of history that will remembered for years after his death and his legacy speaks of his impact on the world.
