Miki Matsubara has passed away on October 7, 2004 at the age of 44. She is well known for her career as a singer and songwriter, having released more than 20 albums throughout her career. She is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, including the NHK Award for Best Pop Artist in 1986 and the Japan Record Award for Best Song of the Year in 1992. Miki Matsubara was born in Chiba, Japan on October 16, 1959. She studied music theory and composition at the Toho Gakuen School Of Music and began recording music at the age of 22. She is best known for her single "Stay With Me" from her debut album Before the Sunrise, and achieved significant success in the Japanese music industry throughout her career. Miki Matsubara was admired for her passion and her commitment to her work, always making sure her fans had the best music experience. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and fans.
