Nancy Spungen (1958 – 1978) passed away on October 12th at the age of 20. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Nancy moved to New York where she attended college and met her longtime partner, punk musician Sid Vicious. Nancy’s life ended in tragedy due to the sudden and unexpected death of her partner in 1978. She will be remembered for her intelligence, independence, and love for romance and adventure. Her best remembered legacy includes her lifelong commitment to her partner. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
