It is with tremendous sorrow that the family of Nandamuri Harikrishna announce his passing. Harikrishna, age 61, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Born in 1956 in Nimmakuru, India, to Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Basavatarakam, Harikrishna was an actor, director and producer f​​rom the Telugu film industry. After entering politics in the late 1980s, he served as Member of the Legislative Assembly for two terms. Harikrishna achieved multiple awards for his work, including the Nandi Award for Best Actor, Best Actor Critics award, and more. He was passionately dedicated to his work until the very end and is remembered for his creativity, artistry, and generosity. Harikrishna's passing leaves behind four children, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Junior NTR, Nandamuri Suhasini and Nandamuri Niharika. He will be remembered and loved by the many fans throughout India, the U.S., and the world.
