Peg Entwistle (nee Millicent Lilian Entwistle)—age 24—passed away on September 18, 1932. A British-born American stage and film actress, Peg made her Gower Street stage debut in 1924 in the play "The Mask and the Face." That same year, Peg also portrayed a minor role in California’s first major talking motion picture, The Heart of Hollywood . After a few other brief stage performances, Peg was cast as Helen in the 1932 film titled Thirteen Women. Above all, Peg will be remembered for her courage and her incredible talent. She is survived by her father and mother, Robert and Edith Entwistle, who reside in England. May she rest in peace.
