In 1962, Rao founded the Telugu newspaper, Eenadu, which quickly gained popularity for its bold and unbiased reporting. He later expanded his media empire to include a television channel, ETV, which became one of the leading Telugu news channels in the country. Rao was a pioneer in the Indian media industry, and his contributions were acknowledged with numerous awards and accolades throughout his career. He was also known for his philanthropy, actively supporting various social and educational causes. Aside from his professional achievements, Rao was also a devoted family man. He is survived by his wife, two children, and four grandchildren. Rao's passing is mourned by the media community and his readers and viewers alike. He leaves behind a legacy of ethical and fearless journalism, which will continue to inspire future generations. He will be remembered for his sharp intellect, unwavering determination, and unwavering commitment to the truth. May his soul rest in peace.
