Richard J. Wright, 65, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, his children, and four grandchildren. Born in Pennsylvania on August 23, 1943, Richard was a software engineer and a renowned business advisor. After studying electrical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, he dedicated much of his career to the advancement of technology in business, consulting on the development of software applications and advising a variety of startup companies. Richard was an active member of his church and was passionate about the technological implications of faith. A consistently generous man, he volunteered for numerous charities and regularly donated to a variety of causes. His love for adventure was demonstrated through his extensive travels and his fondness for outdoor activities. Above all, Richard was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose love for his family will live on in them. He will be greatly missed.
