It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Robert Ressler on May 5, 2013, at 76 years old. Robert is remembered as a lifelong and dedicated resident of La Crosse, Wisconsin. He was born on October 25, 1936 and was a graduate of La Crosse Central High School. After his service in the U.S. Navy, Robert worked as a pipefitter in the La Crosse area and was a proud union member. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and duck-hunting. He believed in the importance of the environment and protecting nature. His other interests included gardening, tinkering in his garage, and playing cards with friends. Robert was an important member of his local church community, dedicated to service and helping others. He touched many lives with his kind and generous spirit. We are mourning the loss of Robert but he will always remain in the strong ties of our memories.
