Sandra Dee (1942-2005) passed away on February 20, 2005 at age 62. A native of Bayonne, New Jersey, Dee began her acting career at the age of 13, appearing in several films through her career such as 'Gidget' (1959) and 'Grease' (1978). Her musical recordings, such as her versions of 'Teach Me Tonight' and 'Tammy', achieved considerable success. Later in her life, she made appearances on television series such as 'Laverne & Shirley' and 'CHiPs'. Dee was married Robert DeBolt from 1960-1966, and Ronald S. Kass in 1968 - until her death. She had one daughter with Robert and two sons with Ronald. Throughout her career and personal life, Dee touched many lives, leaving a lasting impact. She will be remembered as an icon from the golden age of Hollywood.
