Skye McCole Bartusiak, born 1992-09-28 died at the age of 21 on 2014-07-19. She was known for her film career having worked with such directors as M. Night Shyamalan, in the films The 6th Sense and The Patriot, and Mel Gibson in The Patriot. She also acted in a number of independent films as well as television shows such as Desmond's and 24. Skye also worked as an animal adoption coordinator for the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Skye was an avid artist who enjoyed painting and photography. Skye is survived by her mother, Helen, and her two brothers. Friends and family of Skye will always remember her as a beautiful and talented individual.
