Taylor Hawkins, virtuoso musician and dedicated collaborator, passed away on March 25th, 2022 at the age of 50. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Hawkins first gained notoriety as the drummer for the alternative rock band Foo Fighters with whom he toured worldwide for over two decades. During his many years touring, Hawkings worked with and provided backup for a vast array of musical acts including David Bowie, Roger Taylor, and many more. He was the originator of many unconventional styles and techniques, making him a fan favorite. Away from the stage, Hawkins was a dedicated family man, devoted to his wife Alison and son Oliver. He was no stranger to philanthropy, often dedicating his time to charities and helping to raise awareness and funds for worthy causes. Hawkins’ life ended on a personal high point; having just released his first solo album ‘KOTA’ earlier that year. His influence left an indelible mark on the music world, and he will be greatly missed by his family, friends and fans alike. A celebration of his life will take place on April 18th, 2022.
