Theo van Gogh passed away on January 25, 1891 at the age of 33. He was prominent in the art world as a successful art dealer and collector. In addition, he had a successful career as a bookbinder, who worked with many prominent Dutch authors of his day. He was known for his generous nature and fierce intelligence. Theo's legacy lives on in his prolific artwork collection and his support of the Dutch art scene. He will be remembered for his passion and contributions to the visual arts.
