Tom Bosley, the beloved actor who played the role of Father on the classic sitcom "Happy Days" passed away on October 19, 2010 at the age of 83. Born in Chicago, IL, on October 1, 1927, Bosley was an acting veteran of almost fifty years, having been in several television shows, feature films, and stage productions from the1960s to the 2000s. He will also be remembered for his role as the Sheriff in "Murder, She Wrote," Harold Sherman on "The Love Boat," and Mike McVey in "For Love of Ivy." Bosley earned an Emmy nomination for his guest-starring role on the comedy series "Roseanne," and won a Peabody Award for his work on the sitcom, "The Dean Martin Show." Bosley was married to his beloved wife, Patricia, for 55 years. He is survived by his wife, three children, and four grandchildren. Tom Bosley will be remembered for his talent, his professionalism, and his contributions to the world of entertainment. He will be deeply missed by all.
