Tom T. Hall, beloved singer, songwriter and musician, passed away on August 20, 2021 at the age of 85. Hall was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky and had a decades-long career in country music. He wrote more than 3,000 songs, releasing over 92 albums over the course of his career, and wrote hits such as the Grammy-winning single "Harper Valley PTA", as well as "Old Dogs, Children and Watermelon Wine", "I Love", and "I Like Beer". Hall was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008. He was a decorated veteran, having served in both the Air Force and the Army. Hall is survived by his wife, three daughters, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He will be sorely missed.
