Tony Siragusa, an American football player, actor, businessperson, and television presenter, passed away on June 22, 2022, at the age of 55. Born on May 14, 1967, in Kenilworth, New Jersey, he gained prominence in the National Football League (NFL) as a defensive tackle. Siragusa played college football at Pitt before being signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 1990. He played with the Colts for four seasons (1990-1993) before joining the Baltimore Ravens, where he became a key figure in the team’s defense. He was part of the Ravens’ Super Bowl XXXV championship team in 2001. Following his football career, Siragusa transitioned to acting and television, appearing in roles such as the character Salvatore "Goose" Cipriano in the HBO series "The Sopranos." He also worked as a sports analyst for FOX Sports, contributing to various programs covering the NFL. In addition to his contributions to football and entertainment, Siragusa was involved in business ventures, including a successful partnership in the restaurant industry. He was known for his larger-than-life personality and humorous demeanor.
