William "Bill" Bixby, an American actor, director, and frequent game show panelist, passed away on November 21, 1993, at the age of 59. Bixby was born in San Francisco, California, and studied drama at the University of California, Berkeley. He rose to fame primarily playing the role of Dr. David Bruce Banner on the CBS television series The Incredible Hulk, a role he would later win a Saturn Award for. Bixby would later direct a number of series, including Blossom, My Two Dads, and Perfect Strangers. Bixby also appeared in many films and spent several years as a panelist on the game show Hollywood Squares. Bixby will be remembered for his kind-hearted personality and years of dedication to the entertainment. He is survived by his wife, Judith Klibeuer Bixby, his two sons, and many friends and family members.
