Bobby Hatfield, an American singer, songwriter, and performer, passed away on November 5th, 2003 at the age of 63. Hatfield enjoyed success as part of the vocal duo The Righteous Brothers from 1962 to 2003. With partner Bill Medley, The Righteous Brothers achieved widespread fame in the early 1960s with their unique vocal and musical style. They reached the top of the charts with numerous hit songs, including “Unchained Melody” and “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’.” Hatfield also released five solo albums over the course of his career. He collaborated with many notable singers, including Darlene Love, Leonard Cohen, and Linda Ronstadt. He is survived by his partner Bill Medley, and his three children.
