It is with heavy hearts we mourn the untimely death of Brandon Burlsworth. Born in April 1977, Brandon was taken too soon on April 28th, 1999 at the young age of 22. Brandon overcame incredible odds to become a productive leader and a graduate of the University of Arkansas where he was a two-time All-American and an Academic All-American. He was selected in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts one year and two weeks after being accepted as a Razorback student. Brandon was beloved by many because of his strong and contagious faith, his sense of humor, his unparalleled work ethic, his humility, and his remarkable character. The stories about him in the small town of Harrison, Arkansas speak for themselves. Hundreds of people, far and away, have shared stories about how Brandon positively impacted their lives. Brandon's memory will forever live on and the spirit of his legacy will continue to touch many hearts and bring joy and inspiration to others.
