Mr. Chaim Topol, an iconic actor best known for his role in the lm "Fiddler on the Roof," has died on March 9, 2023 at the age of 87. Born in Tel Aviv, Palestine in 1936, Mr. Topol was a successful actor from a young age, appearing on stages both in his native country and in England. He also found success as a singer and a film producer. Most notably, he achieved world-wide fame for his performance as Tevye in the movie version of "Fiddler on the Roof," for which he was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar. Mr. Topol continued to act throughout his life, appearing in several movies and television shows both in the UK and the US. In 1990, he received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical for his work in "Fiddler on the Roof." Chaim Topol was a beloved husband, father and friend. He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
